1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (ToS) define the rules for using the ROQLI app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these ToS.

2. Account Creation & Minimum Age

You must meet the minimum age required in your country of residence:

• 13: United States, Ireland, Spain, Poland, Belgium, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Norway, India, Brazil, Mexico, South Africa.
• 14: Italy, South Korea.
• 15: France, Greece.
• 16: Germany, Netherlands, Hungary, Australia.
• 18: China, Russia, Argentina, Chile, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain, and any other country not listed above.

By registering, you confirm that you meet the required age.

3. Rules of Use

Users agree to:

• Provide accurate information when registering.
• Not share illegal, offensive, violent, hateful, or infringing content.
• Respect other users.

ROQLI reserves the right to remove any content that violates these rules.

4. Features

• Create and participate in photo/video challenges.
• Send messages and reactions.
• Anonymous challenges, Mystery Drops, and public or random challenges with strangers.

5. Intellectual Property

Users retain ownership of their content but grant ROQLI a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and share the content within the app. Users guarantee they hold the necessary rights for the content they upload.

6. Moderation & Sanctions

• Users can block other users and report content.
• The ROQLI team may ban a user in case of serious violations.

7. Monetization & Refunds

The app is free. Ads and/or in-app purchases (exclusive challenges, premium options) may be offered. In-app purchases are non-refundable unless legally required.

8. Liability

ROQLI is not responsible for user-generated content. Each user is solely responsible for the content they share. ROQLI is not liable for interruptions or data loss caused by third-party services.

9. Account Deletion

Users can request account deletion at any time. The deletion will be processed within 30 days, during which the user can cancel the request. Messages and media are automatically deleted after 30 days unless archived. Accounts that remain inactive for more than 3 years will be automatically deleted in compliance with legal requirements.

10. Third-Party Services

The app may use third-party services for hosting (e.g., Cloudflare, Scaleway, GCP) and analytics (e.g., Amplitude, Google Analytics with IP anonymization). These services are used solely to ensure ROQLI’s proper functioning and improvement.

11. Updates to the ToS

ROQLI may update these ToS at any time. Users will be informed of any significant changes via in-app notification or email.

12. Dispute Resolution

In case of a dispute, an amicable resolution will be sought before any legal action. If you are a user residing outside France, you may also benefit from the legal protections available in your country of residence.

13. Governing Law

These ToS are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts.
